Something in the Water

Hi and welcome to my animation about something in the water

The rocky shore has different zones including the low tide, mid tide and high tide zone.

As you can see some crabs live in the mid zone and the high zone and if crabs get old enough they go to the low tide zone.

My creature is a red rock crab and it is a decomposer which means that it eats other sea creatures. This is the red rock crab body parts. They have pincers, the long atenna the eye and the short atenna

here is my food chain. As you can see that the sun gives energy to the plakton the plankton gives energy to the mussel the mussel gives energy to the crab and the crab gives energy to the sea gull.

The sea gull eats the crab and other birds eat crabs and heres is the habitat of a crab. Crabs live in the rocky shore and they are predators to mussels. so that's why the the crab eats the mussel.
