Peter Rabbit

Peter rabbit and benjamin slid up on a wire. ‘Come on’ screamed peter rabbit so they balance on a wire and peter rabbit fell and benjamin grab his and he pull him up and benjamen fell they fell together and went into the pants.

They slid down on a pants and then a man show up he try to cacth them and he got a shvle.

He got a shvle he try to hit them but they ran into the garden and ran and they stop.

When they stop they ran thru the doors and went under the house.

My dream Holiday

On my dream holiday I went to Rainbow end. We went to ride a roller coaster it was fun. I ate some ice cream it tasted dlelicious. After that we went on the Race it move by it self it goes so fast and it is fun because I deserved it.  

Slinky Maliki

 Slinki malinki was blacker than black. He had bright yellow eyes and he liked to stalk and lurk and steal things during the night. He stole some sausages and balloons.

Museum trip

On Thursday team 2 went to the museum for a trip. We went inside the museum. Inside the museum there was a volcano and dinosaurs bones. Miss szymanik and I were looking at the dinosaur bones it was enormous We take a photo. Next we saw a bear, an elephant and a tree house. We went inside the tree house. There was a ladder on it. We went out again. We saw a vol cano. Room. We went inside the house. We saw a TV was on and the house shook and the light switched on and off.we went out of the house. Next we saw a bike and it looked old. We learned about Mataiki the seven stars and the ta moko. I did a kiwi it looked cool. It looked like a tattoo.Whaea Jo told us a story and it was funny! We went downstairs and we went to eat lunch. After that we went back to school on the bus.

It was fun because it was cool at the museum.

 

My wonderful weekend

 

On the weekend I went in the pools with My Dad. First we swam all the way to the end of the pool. We ate some chicken and chips. I felt happy because it was cool.

What makes a kite fly?

We wrote this piece of writing together as a class.

What makes a kite fly?

There are four forces that affect a kite when it is flying. They are gravity, lift, thrust, and drag.

Gravity is the force that keeps us on the ground. The heavier a kite is the harder it is to fly.

Lift is the force pushing the kite off the ground. Lift happens when air moves over the top of the kite at a faster speed than the air that is moving under the bottom of the kite.

The force that makes a kite move through the air is called thrust. Thrust happens with a kite when it is held in one place by its string, while the wind flows around the kite.

As air flows over the kite the wind gets held back a little by the roughness of the fabric. This friction is called drag.

Magical Mataiki

What is Matariki?

Matariki is the group of 7 stars of the Maori new year. At the end of April the stars disappear. They come back again in late May and it is the start of Maori new year. The seven stars are known as the seven sisters. The oldest sister guides her sisters to follow her. We celebrate Matariki in lots of different ways. The Maori people catch fish kai moana and make kites. They also weave flax and tell stories from the past.

My Holiday Highlight

In the holiday we played tag on the grass  with my  brother. We had fun. First we got into the car and we arrived at the playground. We played on the playground. We had fun because I felt happy.

 

Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs

Once upon a time there lived a beautiful Queen. She lived in a far away castle. She had a sore hand. She wished that she could have a baby and she would call her Snow White. When Snow White grew up she looked beautiful and an evil Queen said “Mirror Mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all?” the mirror said “you look beautiful’ and the Evil Queen was happy. She asked the mirror again she said, “mirror mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all?” “You are not beautiful, only Snow White is fairest in the Land” said the mirror.

Melinda Szymanik Visits Room 24

Yesterday morning Melinda szymanik came to visit Room 24 she came Because she an author of children's books and she wanted to share her love of book with as. First Melinda read were Nana and the Book with No Pictures. Next we loved Melinda story and it was very good. After that we love your story. Lastly we enjoyed you came our class I enjoyed the visit because I am very happy. 

Point England Picnic

First we got our hats. We Lined up and walked to the hall. Mr Burt told us the rules. Next we walked to the reserve we sat down on the smooth grass then I helped Carl to find some clAy After that we went for a swim. LastLy we got our bags and we lined up. I felt happy because I liked the beach Picnic. 

Playing with My Friends

On the weekend I played with my brothers. First we played rugby. After that we had a sleep. I felt happy because it was fun playing rugby.

My name is Aaron. I am a year 3 student at Point England Primary School in Auckland New Zealand. My favourite thing to do at school is play football. My favourite thing to eat is eggs. My favourite colour is red. My learning goal this year is to get better at answering questions about the book I have read.

 

Letter to Santa

Dear Santa,

I am great full for my mum because she takes me to the warehouse. For Christmas I would like a nerd gun. I think I deserve a present because I clean the table.
